Ian Rubin

Comedian, Actor, Hobbit. Ian Rubin has spent the last six years adventuring all around The United States, entertaining crowds of geeks, and expressing what it is like to be a nerd when nobody understands! His stand-up focuses around the important issues such as: Where can I get a Karasuno volleyball uniform? Why does the song “Tank!” groove so hard? And for the love of everything???

Ian is a graduate of the Upright Citizen’s Brigade Improv program, Producer of Fiasco! Live, and Executive Producer of UProv Comedy®: The Original Online Improv Show. You can hear Ian’s voice featured in the Anime, World War Blue. Oh, and he’s got free pocky.*

Producer Kazuya Masumoto

Kazuya Masumoto is a graduate student of Yoyogi Animation School Fukuoka. Starting his career as an episode runner, he participated in numerous titles such as Digimon, Zatch Bell!, Ojamajo Doremi, Popolocrois Story, Hamtaro, and Hajime no Ippo. In 2006, Masumoto joined studio GAINAX and produced the popular series GURREN LAGANN and Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. In 2011, Masumoto left GAINAX with Imaishi Hiroyuki and Otsuka Masahiko and created Studio TRIGGER. Some of his titles he produced are KILL la KILL, Ninja Slayer from animation, and Space Patrol Luluco.


Director Masahiko Otsuka

Masahiko Otsuka joined the animation industry as assistant director for Studio Ghibli’s Pom Poko in 1992. He then moved on to Studio GAINAX; participating in many well acclaimed titles such as Neon Genesis Evangelion (episode director) and GURREN LAGANN (co-director). In 2011, Masahiko Otsuka and Hiroyuki Imaishi left GAINAX to establish their own animation company, Studio TRIGGER. Otsuka’s most recent works include KILL la KILL and the Little Witch Academia series.


Chief Animator Takafumi Hori

Takafumi Hori is an experienced animator who has participated in numerous popular titles such as REDLINE, You are Umasou, KILL la KILL, and Steven Universe. Hori has been a long running animator at studio TRIGGER, and he fills the post as the main animator for the television series of Little Witch Academia.
