The gaming room runs for the entire duration of Genericon as a place for our attendees to unwind a bit between events. That means having people staff the area at all times is needed to keep things running smoothly.
Volunteers will watch over the casual gaming room, while also checking in on the tournament rooms (that are being run by the current tournament runners). Volunteers are expected to do basic tasks like enforcing the rules, and keeping track of who takes what equipment. This is typically done by having them pass you an id card, driver’s license preferred.
